On 3 December 2021, during the Vilnius-Bishkek communication session, Marius Stračkaitis, President of the Chamber of Notaries, and Aida Tashtandieva, Vice-President of the Chamber of Notaries of the Kyrgyz Republic, remotely signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries and the Chamber of Notaries of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The document provides for methodological support from the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries to Kyrgyz notaries who have chosen the path of reform. The Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries has been maintaining cooperation with Kyrgyz notaries for several years now. Delegations headed by M. Stračkaitis have visited Bishkek twice.
In 2020, the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries signed a cooperation treaty with the Chamber of Notaries of another state of Central Asia, i.e., Uzbekistan, and currently provides methodological advice on Latin notarial system and other legal issues.
