Russian notaries interested in Lithuanian experience
Russian notariat is interested in experiences of Western European notaries, especially reforms implemented by Lithuanian notariat, President of Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries Marius Stračkaitis said. In April and June 2018 he took part at notarial events in Russian Federation, where he took an opportunity to share Lithuanian expertese.
By invitation of Kaliningrad regional chamber of notaries, Mr. Stračkaitis has attended a seminar on matrimonial property issues. He delivered a presentation about matrimonial property regime in Lithuania.
"After visiting Russia I have a strong impression that Russian colleagues are deeply interested in German, Estonian and especially Lithuanian experience in notarial reforms. Russian notariat is striving for introduction of more compulsory notarial contract forms, and get attention from country's lawmakers", Marius Stračkaitis said.
Marius Stračkaitis is a member of CCNI, responsible for liaison with notariates undergoing reforms in the sovereign countries formerly part of Soviet Union.
President of Lithuanian Chamber also took part at Russian notariat 25th anniversary events in Moscow on April 25-26.
