Representatives of Notariats of EU Member States had a meeting in Sofia
notarurumai.lt. On 19-20 June 2015 a plenary meeting of the General Assembly of the Council of the Notariats of the European Union (CNUE), where the president of the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries Marius Stračkaitis took part, was held in Sofia.
A project implemented jointly by the International Union of Latin Notaries (UINL) and the CNUE has been discussed at the conference, according to which collection and actualization of information about the right of succession of all members of UINL and CNUE Notariats is being conducted. The discussion was held on the Directive of a Single Member Limited Liability Company, currently considered by the European Union, movement of public documents, issues on protection of a notary’s profession, good practice exchange, development of e-services of the Notariat, development of CNUE websites “Succession/Inheritance in Europe” and “Real Estate Law”, cooperation with the European Commission, the European legal institute, and etc.
The next meeting of the General Assembly of the CNUE is to be held on 20 November 2015 in Brussels.
