President of the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries M. Stračkaitis has taken part in the seminar in Armenia.
On October 31 – November 2, 2014 the president of Lithuanian Notary Chamber M. Stračkaitis at the invitation of the Ministry of Justice of the Armenian Republic and the Notary Chamber of the Armenian Republic participated in a seminar – discussion about challenges and tendencies of development of modern notary system and in the opening ceremony of the new premises of Armenian Notary Chamber. The president of Lithuanian Notary Chamber M. Stračkaitis made two presentations at the seminar. The subject of the first presentation was about professional ethics and the system of qualification improvement in the Republic of Lithuania. The subject of the second presentation was about use of information technologies in a notary’s work in the Republic of Lithuania.
The said events were organized under the German International Cooperation Support Program (GIZ) „Cooperation in Implementation of Legal and Judicial System Reform in the South Caucuses “ which is implemented in Armenia. Among the participants of the events were the Prime Minister of the Armenian Republic, the minister of justice and other Armenian state officials, Armenian notaries, representatives of the International Union of Notaries (UINL), Russian, Byelorussian, Ukrainian, French, German notary chambers.
