Notaries Donated the Libraries of Country Schools
The donated money from Lithuanian Notaries will be spent on books for the country schools’ libraries.
“Even at those difficult times to Lithuania we still receive people kindness, which they willingly share with the others”, — rejoices Alma Adamkiene, the founder of the support fund.
In the middle of December, at the general meeting of members of Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries, people donated to Alma Adamkiene support fund. 3660 Litas were found in the charity box. By the resolution of Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries the mention donations will be given to A. Adamkiene support fund implemented program of country schools libraries update.
“Lithuanian notaries traditionally support science and education. We admire the dedication of Alma Adamkiene support fund, by educating children of Lithuanian village schools. We hope that this humble notaries gift will bring new and missing books into villages schools’ libraries”, — stated Marius Strackaitis, the president of Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries.
Notaries invited twenty 11th grade schoolchildren from Sirvintai district Gelvonu secondary school, who are fostered by A.Adamkiene support fund, into State Youth Theatre, where a Petras Vaiciunas play “Patriots” casted by director Jonas Vaitkus was shown.
