GERMAN AND SPANISH NOTARIES PRESENTED INTERNATIONAL EUDOC PROJECT IN VILNIUS

On Friday, 28 January, a delegation of notary chambers of Germany and Spain visited the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries. The guests presented a novelty – the e-project EUdoc. The system, which has already been adopted by notaries of Germany and Spain, ensures the secure exchange of documents among notaries in one or more countries. 
German and Spanish notaries have shown interest in remote notarial acts, legitimated in Lithuania in July 2021, as well as functions and capabilities of the e-system eNotaras developed by the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries. Dr. Jens Bormann, President of German Federal Chamber of Notaries, Richard Bock, Honorary Notary of Germany, President of the International Notarial Cooperation Commission of the International Union of Notaries, and Marius Stračkaitis, President of the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries, discussed international topical issues of notaries, cooperation among the countries in the Council of the Notariats of the European Union (CNUE).
